Wow! It's been decades since I last saw that wrapper. Actually I'm looking for the TV ad for this candy bar. It had a middle-aged man swinging to a downtempo jazzy jingle. Remember it?

I believe it morphed into the Mr Big bar.

Mr Big, Sweet Marie, neither of these bars taste like the Snack Bar. Snack Bars used to be my favorite as a kid. I miss those.

It's similar to the Mr Big Bar except that the Mr Big doesn't have peanuts. It was a mix between a Mr Big & an O'Henry.

Best chockolate bar ever made so of course they discontinued it!

Mr. Big never came close to Snack Bar. Mr. Big had a weird waxy after taste from the aweful wafer cookie used inside. Snack Bar was purely amazing melt in your mouth goodness. The wafer used in it was very good. I miss it! Along with Cadbury Bar Six and MacIntoshes WigWag bar. Canadian chocolate bar staples back in the 70's & 80's.

I couldn't remember the name of my favorite chocolate bar from back in the 50's, so I decided to Google chocolate bar from that era and found your blog. Thanks for posting !!
